Our client is a UK-based civil engineering contractor involved in coastal protection works. They are looking for a Marine Structures Engineer to join their team in the south of England.

The ideal candidate has:

10+ years maritime/heavy civils structural experience.
Hydraulic experience.
Strong analytical skills in structural and geotechnical design for Port, Harbour, Coastal structures and foundations.
Working knowledge of structural and geotechnical analysis and design software
Working knowledge of codes and standards related to marine design.
Extensive experience preparing calculations, design details and working with other staff to develop construction documents.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Based within travelling distance to Brighton

The position is permanent but contractors will also be considered.
