Principal Process Engineer - PSC

• Have good technical/technology knowledge on Pharmaceutical and Life Science Projects;
• Lead experience in delivering Studies, Schemes/FEEDs and DD/EPC Projects;
• Provide both consultancy and technical assurance on projects;
• Be Client facing and able to attend local client operational sites as requested;
• Undertake process design work of units as required, supervise and check work of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate;
• Execute process engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the designs;
• Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and/or those issued by Wood;
• Be responsible for the checking or approval of process calculations in accordance with Wood procedures;
• Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed;
• Have knowledge of UK/International Pharms/Life Science Industry Codes and Standards.

Qualifications

Expected:

• Chemical Engineering Degree;
• Chartered Chemical Engineer status (preferred);
• Have experience of working on and leading Studies, FEED and EPC projects associated with Pharms/Life Science;
• Have proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience;
• Be self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative;
• Have good verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness;
• Be ability to impact and influence fellow workers and be able to engage directly with Clients;
• Demonstrate successful project delivery through taking ownership of tasks and understanding the impact on other deliverables and disciplines.
