Transactions Tax Partner - London Location: LondonWe are working with an award-winning, highly regarded mid-tier London firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Transactions Tax Partner to play a key leadership role within its growing practice.The firm has built a strong reputation in the market for advising dynamic, entrepreneurial businesses and has experienced consistent double-digit growth in recent years. With ambitious plans for further expansion, they are seeking a senior hire who can help shape and lead their Deals / M&A Tax offering.The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a well-established and respected Deals Tax team, advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and strategic growth initiatives.The role would particularly suit someone with Private Equity experience, and a sector interest in hospitality, technology, media or the wider creative industries would be highly advantageous given the firm's strong presence in these markets.As a Partner, you will work closely with the firm's senior leadership, reporting directly to the Managing Partner, and will have the autonomy to shape and grow the transactions practice with minimal bureaucracy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the firm's Transactions / Deals Tax practiceAdvise clients on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, and company disposals and acquisitionsProvide strategic advice on international structuring and overseas group expansion, including managing exposure to withholding taxesBuild and maintain strong client relationships across entrepreneurial businesses, investors and Private Equity stakeholdersDrive business development initiatives and expand the firm's transactions client baseCollaborate with colleagues across the wider firm to maximise cross-referral opportunitiesThe IndividualSignificant experience advising on M&A and transaction tax mattersIdeally exposure to Private Equity backed transactionsEntrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of business development and revenue generationA collaborative leadership style and the ability to inspire and grow a teamA sector interest in hospitality, technology, media or creative industries would be beneficialWhilst there is a warm portfolio to inherit, there is also significant scope to build upon this through internal referrals and market opportunities.This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an enterprising Transactions Tax professional who is looking to lead and shape a growing practice within a forward-thinking and progressive firm.If you would like to discuss this opportunity in confidence, please apply or send your CV to View email address on taxation-jobs.co.uk .
