Optometrist
Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist to join a well-established independent group in the East of Scotland, working across practices in Dunbar and the surrounding coastal towns. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality, community-focused eye care in beautiful seaside locations, with flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive eye examinations tailored to patient needs.
- Provide expert advice on eye health, vision care, and preventative measures.
- Utilise modern equipment including OCT and fundus imaging.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional standards.
- Build strong relationships with patients and the local community.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent patient care.
Team Development:
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
- Engage in ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities.
About You:
- GOC registered Optometrist (newly qualified or experienced welcome).
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Patient-focused with a friendly and professional approach.
- Interested in working within a community-based independent setting.
- Open to relocation or seeking a lifestyle change in a coastal location.
