ICT and Computer Science Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department
Our client is looking for an ICT and Computer Science Teacher to work within a highly regarded mixed secondary school in Birmingham. The successful ICT and Computer Science Teacher will be expected to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5 . The department is well resourced and led by an approachable and supportive Head of Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful team with an excellent track record of academic achievement.

The school achieves strong results year after year and has been graded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted. Located in Birmingham, it serves a diverse community and provides excellent opportunities for both staff and students. In 2023, 76% of students achieved grades 9–4 in English and Maths , and the school continues to build on its academic success with a strong focus on digital learning.
The Computer Science department is a real strength of the school, with 82% of GCSE students achieving grades 9–5 , and a rapidly growing uptake at A-Level. Facilities include modern computer suites, coding labs, and access to industry-standard software. The department promotes enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics challenges, and university partnership projects.

Experience and Qualifications
• ICT and Computer Science Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3–KS5
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology and innovation
• Legal ability to work within the UK
