The Role

The Media Technician will support the delivery of media and creative technology lessons across the school.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and preparing media equipment including cameras, lighting and audio equipment
• Supporting teachers during practical media production lessons
• Managing digital editing software and computer systems used for media production
• Assisting students with filming, editing and production projects
• Maintaining media studios and production spaces
• Managing equipment storage and resource organisation
• Ensuring all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
• Supporting school productions, filming projects and events
• Updating media resources and managing equipment inventories
• Supporting staff with technical aspects of media teaching

The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to support students working on creative projects.
