Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 months, Term Time (39 weeks). To commence 1 September 2026

Salary: MPS/UPS £32,916 - £51,048

The Role:

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English to join the English Faculty here at The Hathershaw College. The successful candidate will teach key stage 3 English, GCSE English literature and language.

Given the strength of our English team and the high levels of expertise in the department, this would be a great opportunity to get your career off to a fantastic start as we have a highly rated early career teacher programme.  Equally, if you are experienced, we would love to hear from you.

The Hathershaw College is a very successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Academy within the Pinnacle

Learning Trust. We are a good school with a group of very talented teachers and staff who set high standards and expectations for our children. We have a strong training and CPD programme (supported by The Pinnacle Learning Trust Research School), which offers opportunities to develop your skills.
