A leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their growing structures team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments, while developing your design and project delivery skills within a supportive environment.

The successful Structural Engineer will play a key role in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers and technicians to produce innovative and practical solutions.

We Are Looking For An Structural Engineer Who:

• Has 2-5 years' experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy;
• Has experience designing structures in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber;
• Is confident carrying out structural calculations and producing design solutions for building projects;
• Has experience using industry software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar;
• Understands UK design codes and structural engineering best practices;
• Is working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE, or has ambitions to do so;
• Has strong communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively within project teams;
• Has the right to work in the UK.

As The Successful Intermediate Structural Engineer, You Will:

• Deliver structural designs for a range of building projects across multiple sectors;
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports and design specifications;
• Liaise with architects, contractors and other design consultants throughout project delivery;
• Attend site visits and undertake inspections when required;
• Work closely with senior engineers to develop practical and cost-effective solutions;
• Support the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget;
• Continue developing your technical knowledge and progress towards professional Chartership.
