Technical Manager

A specialist technology and engineering group are looking for a Technical Manager to join them as a core member of their Executive Leadership Team.

As Technical Manager , you'll lead the Group's technology and innovation strategy, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team across different companies in the group.

You'll provide oversight across R&D teams, establish standardised processes and design principles, and drive product compliance, engineering tool harmonisation and long-term technology strategy across the Group.

A product design background would be very beneficial for this role to drive development of commercially successful physical products.

Technical Manager requirements:

* People management
* Previous experience in a senior technology / R&D leadership role
* Product design experience
* Experience implementing Group-wide R&D processes and methodologies
* Product compliance and regulatory standards experience
* Strong understanding of design principles, product development and engineering methodologies
* Strong stakeholder management skills across Engineering, Operations, Finance and Product
