Administrator

Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with strong IT skills and an interest in technical documentation and record management?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, global engineering and manufacturing organisation, who are looking for a proactive Administrator to join their team.

Working closely with the Records Supervisor, you will provide essential administrative support to the Technical department, with a key focus on maintaining accurate records, updating the company's record management system and ensuring technical documentation is correctly processed, stored and readily accessible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with documentation, maintaining accurate records and supporting a busy technical team.

Key responsibilities

* Review, maintain and update technical records on a day-to-day basis, ensuring information is accurate and the company's record management system is kept up to date.

* Assist with the preparation and organisation of technical documentation required for regulatory audits.

* Update and maintain logbooks, ensuring records are complete and accurately documented.

* Copy, organise and archive maintenance records in line with company procedures.

* Ensure all administrative activities comply with relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.

* Provide general administrative and cross-functional support to the wider team as required.

Essential requirements

* A minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent recognised qualifications, such as NVQs or BTECs.

* Must be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and willing to undergo a mandatory Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
