With strong knowledge of EYFS and Key Stage 1, you will use effective strategies to meet a range of diverse learning needs, establish positive routines and create a nurturing classroom where every child can thrive. Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, colleagues and families, you will support pupils' communication, independence, wellbeing and progress through reflective practice, ongoing assessment and a compassionate approach.
What we are looking forThe successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience within a primary or SEND setting, particularly in EYFS and Key Stage 1. You will be a reflective and collaborative practitioner with strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education. You will have a good understanding of the national curriculum, adaptive teaching and effective SEND practice, alongside the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals. A commitment to safeguarding, high expectations and supporting every child to achieve their full potential is essential.
