Workshop Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a well established international engineering company, at their site based in Glasgow. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a wide range of rotating equipment within a busy workshop environment.
The Role:
- Service, repair, and refurbish industrial pumps, electric motors, and gearboxes.
- Carry out bearing replacements, mechanical repairs, and fault diagnosis.
- Complete seal repairs and refurbishment work to a high standard.
- Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble equipment in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
About You:
- Previous experience working on pumps, motors, bearings, and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of seal repairs and rotating equipment maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred.
