Salary: £95 to £110 per day

Whether you're an experienced TA, a Learning Support Assistant, a SEND specialist, a graduate considering a career in education, or someone with experience working with children, we'd love to hear from you.

Teaching Assistants are at the heart of every great school. You're the encouraging voice, the extra pair of hands, and often the person who helps a child believe in themselves. Schools are looking for people just like you.

What will you be doing?

Every day is different, but you could be:

• Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups
• Helping teachers deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Working across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 or secondary classrooms
• Supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH
• Encouraging pupils to build confidence, independence and a love of learning
• Becoming part of welcoming school communities across Halifax

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with children or young people in any setting
• Are patient, caring and ready to make a positive impact
• Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff
• Are adaptable, reliable and enjoy working in different schools
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are happy to apply for one

Experience in schools is great, but it's not always essential. If you've worked in childcare, youth work, coaching, care, or another role supporting young people, we'd love to hear about your experience.
