The successful candidate will provide frontline housing advice and support to residents, helping to assess housing needs and deliver effective solutions in line with housing legislation and council policies. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide frontline housing advice and support to residents, helping to assess housing needs and deliver effective solutions in line with housing legislation and council policies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely housing advice to residents
- Assess housing needs and support customers with housing options
- Manage a varied caseload of housing enquiries
- Work closely with internal teams and external partner agencies
- Maintain accurate case notes and update housing systems
- Support vulnerable residents and signpost to relevant services
- Ensure all advice and decisions are compliant with housing legislation and policy
- Handle complex and sensitive customer enquiries in a professional manner
- Previous experience in a Housing Advisor, Housing Officer or similar role
- Strong understanding of housing legislation and housing options
- Experience working in a local authority or housing environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Strong IT and case management system skills
- A calm, professional approach when dealing with vulnerable clients
