Religious Studies Teacher – Outstanding School - September 2024 - Tillerman Court
The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Religious Studies Teacher to join their Religious Studies department. Religious Studies is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the school with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Religious Studies teacher looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational Religious Studies teacher looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate might be looking to develop further.

The successful Religious Studies Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Religious Studies. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.
School Information
The school is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Tillerman Court and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2016) graded the school as Outstanding.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Religious Studies or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this Religious Studies Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS
