A vibrant and creative primary school located in Chorlton is looking for an enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed TA-or a graduate looking to gain school experience-to join a supportive, forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities * Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 1. * Lead small-group intervention sessions in Phonics, Reading, and Numeracy. * Assist with classroom preparation, display boards, and learning resources. * Promote inclusive learning and foster positive social interactions among pupils. Role Requirements * Relevant experience working within a UK primary school setting. * Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English & Maths). * A proactive, energetic attitude and a genuine passion for early education. Mandatory DBS & Safeguarding Requirements * Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Children's Barred List (or willingness to process a new one). * Proof of Right to Work in the UK. * Minimum of two satisfactory professional references. * Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young children.
