Shift Pattern :  In accordance with a rotational roster, you will work over a four-week shift pattern which consists of two weeks day shift and 2 weeks back shifts. Day shift is 6.30 am until 3.30 pm (during week days - 7am until 4 pm office based) Backshift is 3 pm until 11 pm. When not in the office you will work from home.

Shift Pattern consists of – 

  • Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday , Saturday, and Sunday ( Dayshift )

  • Week 2 – Wednesday , Thursday ( Dayshift )

  • Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ( Backshift )

  • Week 4 – Wednesday , Thursday ( Backshift )   

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement use IT, and you should have an interest and understanding of IT programmes.

A number of opportunities exist for people wishing to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation.

Additional increments for working unsocial hours will also apply.

Scheduling Assistants are required to balance the needs of multiple people with differing requirements.
