Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Senior NPI Engineer Location: Sedgefield, England, United Kingdom Job Type: Full-time, hybrid Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Join an award-winning technology business designing and manufacturing advanced RF, microwave and mmWave solutions for demanding communications, aerospace, defence and space applications. You’ll work at the interface between engineering and production, helping move new products from prototype through to stable, repeatable manufacturing. Key Responsibilities * Support NPI activities from prototype through to production * Develop and optimise manufacturing processes * Support DFM and DFA activities * Analyse RF test data to improve yield and process capability * Investigate manufacturing and RF performance issues * Support production ramp-up and continuous improvement * Design and implement tooling and fixtures * Produce manufacturing procedures and technical documentation About You * HND, degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, RF, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field * Experience introducing RF or microwave products into manufacturing * Background in RF, microwave, electronics, aerospace, defence, semiconductor or other high-precision manufacturing * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience with manufacturing process development and continuous improvement * Knowledge of 8D, DMAIC or FMEA * SPC and process capability experience would be advantageous * Familiarity with VNA, spectrum analysers and signal generators would be beneficial Benefits * Competitive salary * 37.5-hour working week * 25 days’ holiday plus public holidays * Option to buy up to 5 additional days * Up to 8% employer pension contribution * Life Assurance and Income Protection * SAYE share scheme * EV and Cycle to Work schemes * Volunteering day * Learning and development opportunities * Hybrid working * Relocation assistance available This is a great opportunity for an experienced NPI Engineer to work on technically challenging products within a growing business in Sedgefield, with access to advanced RF and microwave technologies and strong opportunities for development
