Assistant Management Accountant

In this role, reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

– Completion of monthly management accounts (with full training and guidance)

– Assisting in weekly cash flow forecasting and intercompany reporting

– Reviewing sales invoices produced by the team and uploading them onto the accounting system

– Collaborating with the Financial Controller to introduce checklists and procedures for tasks across the finance function

– Preparing quarterly VAT returns

– Supporting bank reconciliations and control of the fixed asset register and leased vehicles

Additional support tasks may include:

– Credit control and assessment of outstanding debtor positions

– Processing purchase invoices

– Assisting with annual external audits

– Working with the Financial Controller to standardize processes across the wider Group
