Class 1 Drivers - Norwich (NR6) - Ongoing work NEW IMPROVED PAY £17-£34 per hour
The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Norwich NR6 . This is an excellent opportunity for Class 1 drivers with the potential to be trained on Wag and Drag - looking for ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position .
Tell us what you can do - from 1 day a week to full time , or something in between -the client will work around you!
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £17 per hour - Standard Rate (up to 10 hours)
- £20 per hour - Standard Rate for hours worked between 02:00 to 06:00
- £25.50 per hour - Overtime (after 10 hours)
- Sunday £34 per hour
- MINIMUM 10 HOURS PAY
- £26.20 tax free per night out (nights out are optional)
Start Times: Flexible
Location: Norwich - NR6
Contract: Ongoing with Temp to Perm Opportunity.
Job Role
- Driving Class 1 Arctics or Wag & Drag vehicles (chance to upskill with full training)
- Delivering window frames
- No handball required
- Start times flexible to match your availibility
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Work may involve up to 2 nights out per week (always truck stops -not roadside) but these are optional
Working Pattern
- Work available across 7 days - TELL US WHAT YOU CAN DO!
- Ongoing work available
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Wag & Drag experience an advantage, but training available
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
