Technology is pivotal to our success, it’s the engine room of Centrica. It enables us to increase the efficiency of systems, products, services and most importantly, it allows us to work flexibly with our customers and colleagues to meet changing needs.

Our DTS (Tech) Year in Industry Programme aims to compliment your studies and accelerate your development - hopefully setting you up for a limitless career in technology whilst being part of our award-winning tech team. Your placement will be within one of our technology teams, supporting a key area of our business such as Web & mobile app development, Core application development, Cloud platform/network engineering, Data engineering and Data science Information/cyber security technology

No DTS or Tech experience?

No problem. We’ve got plenty to go around and can’t wait to share it with you. You will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into.

At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship. While we support flexible working across the business, our summer interns are based full-time, predominantly in our London/Berkshire office to maximise learning, connection, and development.

What we need from you

We want you to count yourself in!

• Predicted minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM subject (2:2 if combined with a Master’s)
• Willing to relocate and try new things
• Someone with great initiative and problem-solving skills
• Someone with an understanding of Agile practices and methods to deliver value for our customers
• Have the right to work in the UK
