Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students in primary or secondary education
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and assistance as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies and resources
• Encourage independent and critical thinking skills among students

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Maths education and incorporate them into lesson plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Maths in primary or secondary education
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo necessary checks
