• Hours: 8am – 6pm (30 mins lunch) Key responsibilities •Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and distributing prescribed medications to patients.
•Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescriptions in line with pharmacy regulations and standard operating procedures.
•Assist the pharmacist in checking stock levels, managing inventory, and ordering medicines and supplies.
•Entering orders, filling prescriptions, and ensuring that the Pharmacist has verified and approved the prescription before handing the medication off to the patient. Skills required
• Responsible, accurate and methodical
• Experience in using the software ProScript would be an advantage
• Community pharmacy experience
• Able to pay attention to detail.
• Able to read and carry out instructions.
• To be interested in people’s health.
• Able to explain clearly to members of the public.
• Excellent communication, customer service, IT and skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
