We are seeking a dedicated Aspiring Child Counsellor/SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist provision within a mainstream secondary school based in Camberley. This role is ideal for anyone interested in becoming a Child Counsellor, as well as individuals with experience in education, care, or youth work, alongside recent or soon-to-be Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduates.
About the Role
As an Aspiring Child Counsellor/LSA, you will support pupils with moderate learning difficulties in a structured and nurturing environment. This position in Camberley offers valuable, hands-on experience for an Aspiring Child Counsellor, providing exposure to emotional support, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
* Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
* Assist with a personalised and flexible curriculum
* Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
* Help create a safe and supportive learning environment

* Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology
* Anyone passionate about supporting children’s mental health and development
* Can commute to Camberley

**£103-£110 per day
