HGV Class 1 Driver - Raunds, Northamptonshire - Ongoing Regular Work
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm.
Shifts
* Monday - Friday
* Start times between 04:00-07:00 or 12:00-16:00 Rates of Pay Days - £16.75 per hour (basic)
- £22.28 per hour (overtime after 9 hours) Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: - Excellent hourly rates

- Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): - Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
- Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules Essential Skills As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: - Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience - Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided - Driver assessment required prior to start
