Flourish Medical is currently recruiting for a Locum Dentist to join a well-established dental practice in Newport, Shropshire on a long-term locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist seeking regular part-time work with a competitive day rate and the support of an experienced practice team.
This opportunity offers 2 days per week and is ideal for a clinician looking for a consistent locum position within a patient-focused environment. Immediate start available.
This Locum Dentist opportunity will offer:
- Long-term locum assignment
- 2 days per week available
- Competitive day rate of £450 per day

- Established patient base and busy clinical diaries
- Mixed NHS and private patient base
- Modern surgeries with up-to-date equipment and digital systems
- Experienced nursing and clinical support team

Key Requirements for the Dentist:
- GDC registered Dentist
- Active NHS Performer Number essential
- Previous UK dental experience required
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Confident managing NHS and private patient appointments
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities of the Locum Dentist will include:
- Providing high-quality dental treatment and patient care
- Delivering routine and restorative dentistry
- Assessing, diagnosing and planning patient treatment
- Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team
- Supporting continuity of care and maintaining excellent patient experience

The practice is based in Newport, Shropshire, with convenient access from surrounding locations including Telford, Shifnal, Stafford, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
