Up to £36,000 Are you an experienced Quality Control Technician looking for your next opportunity within a manufacturing environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing quality team, where you'll investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and support corrective actions across multiple departments. You'll work with advanced metrology equipment, produce detailed investigation reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative engineering environment. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: * Investigate quality concerns and identify root causes using structured problem-solving techniques.
* Support and deliver corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Analyse findings and present clear investigation reports and presentations to stakeholders.
* Manage investigations to agreed timescales and provide regular progress updates.
* Use metrology equipment including CMMs and laser scanners to support investigations.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to assess quality issues.
* Produce accurate documentation and maintain high-quality reporting standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality-focused projects.
* Manage multiple investigations while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Key Requirements of the Quality Control Technician: * Minimum of three years' experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Previous experience carrying out quality investigations and implementing corrective actions.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly and fabrication.
* Confident using measuring equipment and quality inspection tools.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Experience using 3D CAD for reviewing details and dimensions.
* Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant engineering or quality discipline.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to manage workload independently.
* Knowledge of GD&T, LEAN principles, PolyWorks Inspector, CMMs, laser scanners, or project management would be advantageous.
* Willingness to travel occasionally and work additional hours when required. Quality Control Technician
