Subject Lead of Geography - Ofsted 'Outstanding' School...
The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Subject Lead of Geography to join their Geography department. Geography is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the school with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Subject Lead of Geography looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational Subject Lead of Geography looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate might be looking to develop further.

- A commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum.
- A relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and ICT skills
The successful Subject Lead of Geography will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of MFL. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.
School Information
The school is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Geography and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2020) graded the school as Ofsted rated ‘Good’.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Geography or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this Subject Lead of Geography position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
