An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our newly established Adult Social Care Business Administration Team within the Adults Commissioning, Integration and Market Development service.
As an Adult Social Care Commissioning Activity Coordinator , you'll join a team supporting Adult Social Care services across Derby City Council through business administration, coordination and service improvement.
The Adult Social Care Commissioning Activity Coordinator role offers the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of Adult Social Care services while developing your knowledge and skills within a supportive team. As an Adult Social Care Commissioning Activity Coordinator, you'll join us at an exciting stage in the team's development, where your ideas and initiative will help shape the way the service continues to grow.

• Working across a range of Adult Social Care services, providing business administration and coordination support as part of a collaborative approach to delivering high quality services for Derby's residents.
• Maintaining accurate information within Adult Social Care systems and coordinating work to help ensure services are delivered in a timely and organised way.
• Building positive working relationships with colleagues, providers and partner organisations to coordinate activities, share information and support the delivery of Adult Social Care services.
• Contributing to the development of new processes and consistent ways of working as part of a newly established team.
• Supporting a variety of operational activities and projects across Adult Social Care services, providing opportunities to broaden your knowledge and experience.
• Supporting wider corporate projects, including Derby's School PFI Expiry Programme, by providing business administration and coordination support.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have...
Excellent organisational skills and enjoy working in a busy, varied environment where priorities can change. You'll be proactive, use your initiative and be comfortable managing a varied workload while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, partner organisations and customers. You'll also be confident using Microsoft Office applications and keen to learn new systems and processes.
Transferable experience gained within local government, health, education or another customer focused environment, together with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
