Nightshift Support Worker – Glenrothes

We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Nightshift Support Workers to join our team supporting a young man in the Glenrothes area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by providing person-centred support within his own home.

Shift Pattern

• 12-hour night shifts

• 2-week rolling rota

• Permanent contracted hours available

• Opportunity for additional shifts

The Role

You will provide high-quality care and support, enabling the individual to remain safe, comfortable, and independent throughout the night. Duties include:

• Supporting with ventilator care (full specialist training provided before working independently)

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect

• Administering and supporting with medication

• Moving and handling using appropriate equipment

• Monitoring health and wellbeing throughout the night

• Encouraging social interaction and meaningful engagement where appropriate

• Promoting independence and supporting activities tailored to the individual's interests

• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
