About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers to support students aged 11-16, helping them achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with SEN
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Help prepare learning materials and resources
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people (in schools or similar settings preferred)
- A passion for education and supporting student development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. , Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
