Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Homes Manager to lead a 2-bed children’s residential service during an exciting period of development and expansion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with experience in either Learning Disabilities (LD) or Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) services. The home operates with a flexible care model, allowing support to be tailored around the individual needs of young people.
✨ About the Role As Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people aged 8–17.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, leading a dedicated staff team, and helping shape the future direction of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the home
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Promote a therapeutic, child-focused approach to care
• Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
• Manage staffing rotas, budgets, and overall home performance
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people

✅ Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within residential childcare
• Experience working within LD and/or EBD settings
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s home regulations
• Confident leadership and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
