We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Maths specialists to support secondary schools across Brixham, Torquay, Paignton, and the wider Torbay region.

  • Paid to Scale for long-term positions that include planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA).

• Support: A dedicated consultant to help guide you through your placements in local Torbay schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day: Deliver engaging, pre-prepared Maths lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Long-Term: Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning innovative lessons, preparing students for exams (GCSE/A-Level), marking, and tracking progress.

What we need from you

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A strong subject knowledge of the secondary Mathematics curriculum.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
• A passion for education and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
