Job Description
Just imagine helping make anti-corruption, sanctions and export control requirements clear, proportionate and workable across a complex international business. Then make it real.
About the role
The role combines development of anti-corruption, sanctions and export control frameworks and policies with risk-based compliance advisory work and senior-level expertise in complex commercial contracting and negotiations.
As our Senior Manager, Anti-Corruption, Ethics & Compliance, you'll add specialist expertise across anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions and export controls, where compliance strategy, commercial contracts and practical risk management come together. You'll contribute to the priorities and direction of the LEGO® Group's anti-corruption, sanctions and export controls work, providing senior, risk-based guidance on complex matters. This is a permanent role.
Required Experience
- Advised on complex anti-bribery, sanctions and export control matters, including sanctions exposure and escalated business questions.
- Reviewed and advised on anti-bribery, sanctions and export control contract clauses in commercial agreements.
- Negotiated anti-bribery, sanctions and export control requirements within commercial contracts and helped shape workable contractual safeguards.
- Designed and delivered audience tailored, risk-based training on anti-bribery, sanctions and export control topics as well as associated communications and guidelines
- Implemented or supported sanctions screening and export control frameworks.
- Contribute to designing and maintaining risk assessments, controls, monitoring and testing, issue management processes and reporting within anti-bribery, sanctions and export control compliance programmes.
- Applied anti-bribery, sanctions and export controls compliance requirements in a business environment.
Preferred Experience
- Supported monitoring and reporting activities using compliance technology or analytical methods.
- Contributed to compliance risk assessments, controls and issue-management activities through data analysis.
- Worked with third-party risk management processes and ethical supply chain assurance.
What you'll build
- Clear, risk-based guidance on complex anti-bribery, sanctions and export control matters.
- A continual improvement approach to enhancing the anti-bribery, sanctions and export control compliance framework
- Practical support for contract negotiations that balances legal, compliance and commercial considerations.
- Effective contributions to risk assessments, controls, monitoring, issue management and reporting.
- Communications, training and guidance that help colleagues apply requirements confidently in day-to-day decisions.
What matters most is your ability to apply sound judgement, deliver practical advice and build trusted relationships across different markets and cultures.
Life on the team
You'll join the Anti-Corruption, Ethics & Compliance team within Corporate Compliance. The team helps the LEGO Group live its values through ethical, responsible and legally compliant business conduct across global operations. Colleagues combine specialist expertise with clear communication, integrity and practical thinking.
You'll work independently on complex matters while collaborating closely with colleagues and business partners across the organization.
What success looks like
After your first year, you're a trusted adviser delivering timely, risk-based guidance and helping strengthen contractual safeguards, controls and compliance activities. You'll contribute to the team's priorities around governance, risk assessments, monitoring, reporting and practical business guidance. Along the way, you'll work closely with Anti-Corruption, Ethics & Compliance colleagues, Legal, Procurement, senior leaders and business partners across markets and functions.
