The Role:

• Captivating the Classroom:
  • Design and deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize a diverse range of teaching methods, including discussions, debates, presentations, creative writing activities, and multimedia resources to create a dynamic learning environment.
  • Ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a love for language.
  • Prepare students for success in relevant English qualifications
• Nurturing a Love for Language:
  • Develop students' understanding of literature and its various genres, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Encourage students to express themselves creatively through writing, speaking, and drama.
  • Foster a passion for reading and instill a lifelong appreciation for the power of language.
  • Develop students' effective communication skills, preparing them for success in all areas of their lives.

We're Looking For:

• A qualified English Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• A demonstrably strong subject knowledge across the English curriculum.
• Excellent pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons.
• A passion for English language and literature and the ability to communicate that passion to students.
• A commitment to fostering a stimulating and positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
