SEN Teaching Assistant – Special School – Islington
A specialist school in Islington is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

School Information:
The school provides a nurturing environment tailored to the needs of students with SEND. The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with ASD and other SEND in their learning activities.
- Develop strategies to support students’ social and emotional needs.
- Work with the SENCo to create and implement IEPs.
- Foster independence and confidence in students.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A clear DBS check.
