Neighbourhood Strategic Lead - Primary Integrated Community Services LTD

Primary Integrated Community Services (PICS), on behalf of the Nottinghamshire GP Provider Federation Partnership GPFP, has been commissioned by the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to provide clinical leadership for the development of neighbourhood health across Nottinghamshire. We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to help drive the next phase of neighbourhood transformation and support the delivery of integrated, population-focused care across local communities.

About the Role

As a Strategic Clinical Lead, you will provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of neighbourhood health across Nottinghamshire. This is a strategic leadership, advisory and influencing role rather than an operational management position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of Clinical Leadership Outcomes and ensure alignment with commissioning priorities, neighbourhood health plans and annual work plans.
• Provide strategic stewardship across quality, safety, value, prevention and health inequalities.
• Lead relationships with ICB, provider collaboratives, local authorities, community services, pharmacy, secondary care and VCSE partners.
• Oversee population health management approach including use of linked datasets and identification of priority cohorts.
• Ensure quarterly performance reporting, evidence collection and preparedness for maturity assessments.
• Sponsor pathway redesign, workforce development, innovation and clinical engagement programmes.
• Provide leadership for response to emerging system pressures and commissioned work packages.

Contract Arrangements

• Rolling annual contract, subject to continuation of the overarching commissioned service and funding arrangements.
• Sessional rate: £16,583 per session per annum, based on an independent contractor equivalent arrangement.
• Available sessions: o 8 sessions Greater Nottingham o 6 sessions North Nottingham

About You

We are seeking applications from established General Practitioners currently working within Nottinghamshire who can demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Leading large-scale transformation programmes across health and care systems.
• Developing neighbourhood, place-based or population health approaches.
• Providing strategic leadership and influencing change across organisational boundaries.
• Clinical stewardship, quality improvement and evidence-based service redesign.
• Using population health intelligence and data to support decision-making.
• Developing and supporting multiprofessional teams and leadership networks.
