We are recruiting
Support Worker to join a core team supporting people in the community who have moved on from more complex services. Supported living services provide people an opportunity to live an independent life in their own home.
Role: Support Worker
Location: Derby DE1
Shifts: Days, nights, weekends
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The Role
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
· To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
· Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
· Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
· General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
· As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

SCS Derbyshire supported living services, established in 2019, are dedicated to providing high-quality care in Derby City.
Supporting 54 individuals, the service has earned a 'Good' rating from CQC and is actively working towards an 'Outstanding' rating.
