Estimator
Location: Leicester
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator who enjoys working within a fast-paced technical environment and wants genuine long-term career progression. You’ll be responsible for producing estimates and quotations across a diverse range of construction products, interpreting drawings, liaising with customers and supporting the external sales team to win new business opportunities. Responsibilities
- Preparing estimates and quotations from customer enquiries
- Producing technical take-offs from construction drawings
- Liaising with customers to gather project information
- Managing urgent quotation requests and fast turnaround times
- Working closely with sales teams and manufacturing departments
- Identifying additional sales opportunities within projects
- Ensuring quotations are commercially competitive and profitable
- Maintaining accurate pricing and customer records
- Previous estimating experience is essential
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings
- Commercially aware with strong numerical skills
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience within roofing, cladding, rainwater systems, fabrication, construction products or building envelope sectors would be advantageous
- Sage experience would be beneficial but is not essential
