The Opportunity

We now have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our large engineering team at our Cement Manufacturing Plant in Cauldon , Staffordshire.

Covering Monday-Friday days , 08:00-16:00 with an early finish on a Friday. You’ll be joining at an exciting time as we continue to invest in this plant through new equipment projects across this plant. You’ll have a truly varied role as you’ll work on a variety of electrical systems, from batteries to high-voltage equipment. You’ll also be involved in exciting electrical projects, including upgrading switchgear and motor control centres.

Alongside projects for plant upgrades you’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance work to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll be supported by senior and specialist engineers, making this a great opportunity to expand your technical knowledge while progressing your career. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving our critical operations.

Who you are

You’ll be a qualified engineer with either an apprenticeship or a Level 3 qualification in an Electrical discipline.

You’ll have experience working within an industrial engineering environment.

You’ll be familiar with Health & Safety practices, able to work in a safe manner.
