Business Investment and Growth Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and committed individual to join our Business Team, whose remit is to support the growth of the local economy by assisting businesses to grow and start-up in Redcar and Cleveland.

We are looking for a dynamic, qualified Business Investment and Growth Advisor, with extensive experience to help shape, support and deliver the ambitions and priorities of the service. 

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and can work under pressure and within tight time scales.  You will act as a Lead Officer for key inward investment projects and be accountable for mananging budgets and instructing direct staff and or consultants to deliver support requirements.  You will be experienced in providing quality business, skills and investment advice to support inward investors and established businesses looking to grow.   

Organised and able to easily interpret and analyse information, trends and evidence is essential to create and develop new projects to support the local business base and emerging sectors.  An excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and develop long term relationships is key.
