Behaviour Support Manager
Location: Basingstoke
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £129 - £140 per day
Hours per week: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year About the role
We are recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Support Manager to join a specialist SEN school in Basingstoke, supporting young people with Social, Emotional, Communication and Interaction Difficulties (SECID). The successful Behaviour Support Manager will play a key role in supporting students with their behaviour and wellbeing, building positive relationships and helping young people overcome barriers to learning and success. Daily duties for Behaviour Support Manager * Support and manage student behaviour
* Build positive and trusting relationships with students
* Implement effective behaviour-support strategies
* Support students during challenging or dysregulated situations
* Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
* Work closely with the wider support team
* Maintain a consistent approach to behaviour across the school
* Help students develop important life and independence skills Requirements for Behaviour Support Manager * Previous experience supporting young people
* Experience managing challenging behaviour
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
