Location: Camberley (4 days office-based, 1 day from home)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

An established business is seeking an experienced Payroll Lead & Finance Administrator to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied position offering responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process, alongside supporting wider finance administration activities.

This role would suit a payroll professional who has previously taken ownership of payroll and enjoys working within a collaborative finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain payroll records and process employee changes, overtime, deductions and statutory payments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries.
• Ensure payroll submissions and reporting deadlines are met.
• Reconcile payroll information and support month-end activities.
• Assist with sales invoicing, supplier payments and general finance administration.
• Support financial reporting, reconciliations and audit requirements.
• Work closely with Finance and HR to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.

About You:

• Previous experience leading and processing payroll from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and payroll best practice.
• Experience working within a finance or accounts function.
• Confident using payroll systems and Excel.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
