Occupational Health Nurse

The Role

The Occupational Health Nurse will play a vital role in providing compassionate and professional clinical services, contributing significantly to the quality of care received by clients. This position involves conducting health surveillance, implementing health and wellbeing initiatives, and collaborating with external organisations and healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Provide health surveillance and manage escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians.
• Offer professional advice, support, and guidance.
• Assess new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
• Evaluate individuals’ fitness for work in relation to their job roles.
• Conduct clinical assessments of clients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
• Support the Senior OH Advisor in monitoring and assessing the clinical practice of the OH team.
• Ensure clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practices.

What You’ll Need

• Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse or in a similar role, with an understanding of health surveillance.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good IT skills, including proficiency in database systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A team player who is keen to take on challenges and is dedicated to achieving results.
• A curiosity to learn and develop professionally.
