Dental Lab Customer Service / Client Technical Support

Location: Loughton, Essex
Salary: £25,000 – £34,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Are you an experienced customer service professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding support? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing dental laboratory in Essex that is looking to add a Customer Service / Client Technical Support Advisor to its friendly and professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with clients to ensure a first-class customer experience. You’ll become the main point of contact for dental practices, helping to manage enquiries, provide technical guidance and ensure cases progress smoothly from submission through to delivery.

Whether you already have experience within the dental industry or you’re looking to develop your knowledge in a specialist healthcare sector, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As part of the customer support team, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with dental practice clients while ensuring every enquiry is handled professionally, efficiently and with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service via telephone, email and digital communication channels.
• Respond to client enquiries regarding cases, turnaround times, deliveries and order updates.
• Provide technical guidance on case submissions, laboratory prescriptions and digital workflows.
• Assist clients with digital scan submissions and laboratory software systems.
• Liaise with dental technicians and logistics teams to coordinate cases and resolve queries efficiently.
• Manage customer issues quickly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Process new orders and monitor case progress through the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Support the onboarding of new customers and provide guidance on laboratory procedures.
• Contribute ideas to continually improve customer service and the overall client experience.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organised and confident communicating with clients. You should enjoy solving problems, multitasking and working as part of a collaborative team.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a customer service or client support role.
• Experience within dentistry, healthcare or a technical customer support environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of dental terminology or dental laboratory procedures would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
• A positive, professional attitude with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
