Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant to join an established finance team in Burton upon Trent .
The role will have a strong focus on costing, commercial analysis and business partnering , working closely with the Cost Accountant and wider business to support key projects and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse management accounts and financial information
- Support costing activities and provide analysis on costs and margins
- Work closely with the Cost Accountant to provide additional support
- Business partner with operational and commercial stakeholders
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Provide financial insight to support business decisions
- Support key commercial and operational projects
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and processes
- Contribute to a collaborative and well-rounded finance team
Requirements
- Strong costing experience is essential
- Good understanding of management accounts and financial analysis
- Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills
- Proactive, analytical and able to work collaboratively
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Candidates qualified by experience or currently studying towards a qualification will also be considered
