Earn £16.98 per hour | £22.59 per hour Overtime | Monday to Friday | AM Starts Between 02:00 - 08:00 | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available | Training Provided

This role is ideal for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent, long-term work.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category C+E Driver, CE Driver, Trunk Driver, Trunking Driver, Store Delivery Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Tramper Driver .
Shifts
- Monday to Friday (Weekend Work Available) - AM Starts Between 02:00 - 08:00
Rates of Pay
- £16.98 per hour (Monday to Friday) - £22.59 per hour (Overtime)

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Completing Class 1 trunking and store deliveries safely and efficiently - Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and in accordance with company procedures - Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections - Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly before transport - Following planned routes and delivery schedules - Adhering to UK road transport legislation and tachograph regulations - Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers - Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly - Assisting with loading and unloading where required
Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence - A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C+E vehicles - A valid UK Driver CPC Qualification Card - A valid Digital Tachograph Card - No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) - Good spoken and written English - Excellent punctuality and timekeeping - A good understanding of UK road traffic laws and transport legislation - Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Desirable Experience
- Previous Class 1 trunking experience - Previous store delivery experience - Previous commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
Training Provided
- Driver assessment required prior to starting - One-day paid induction following a successful assessment - Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
