Assistant Manager – Vibrant West London Pub

Salary: Up to £40,000
A lively, community-focused pub in the heart of Hammersmith is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role at a well-loved venue known for its welcoming atmosphere, high-volume service, and strong food and drink offering.
The Venue:
This spacious and stylish venue combines the buzz of a modern sports pub with the warmth of a local favourite. With a popular food menu, quality drinks, and regular events, it draws a diverse and loyal crowd. Screens show major sporting fixtures and the pub regularly hosts quizzes, celebrations, and community events.
The Role:
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue, with a strong focus on:
Team leadership and development
Delivering outstanding customer service
Managing busy service periods with confidence
Supporting with stock control, ordering, and compliance
Driving sales through events and guest engagement
What They’re Looking For:
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor in a busy pub or bar
A hands-on, can-do attitude with a passion for hospitality
Confident running service and supporting team training
Strong knowledge of food and drink service, ideally in a sports or events-focused environment
A calm head under pressure and a natural people-person
