We are looking for kind, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team.
As a Support Worker, you will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs to live independent, fulfilling and meaningful lives .
No two days are the same. You could be supporting someone to develop a new life skill, helping them access the community, encouraging greater independence or simply being there to provide reassurance and support when they need it most.
The people we support are individuals with their own personalities, preferences, goals and needs. Your role is to provide person-centred support that enables each individual to make choices, develop their independence and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs
- Providing person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and goals
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice and personal wellbeing
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal care , where required
- Encouraging and supporting people to access their local community and take part in activities they enjoy
- Supporting individuals to develop life skills, confidence and independence
- Following individual support plans, risk assessments and agreed approaches
- Responding calmly, positively and safely when individuals may display behaviours of distress
- Building positive, trusting relationships with the people we support
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team
⏰ Shift Patterns – Including Weekends
Flexibility is essential, with a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts available:
- Day Shift: 07:30 – 21:30
- Night Shift: 21:15 – 07:45

You don't need previous experience in a support role. What matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn.

Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs is desirable but not essential. We provide full training, ongoing guidance and support , making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career as a Support Worker.

About The Role
Support Worker – Role Overview
A Support Worker plays an important role in supporting individuals to live safe, fulfilling, and as independent a life as possible. You’ll provide practical and emotional support tailored to each person’s individual needs, preferences, and goals.
We support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex care needs . Some of the people we support may also display behaviours of distress , and Support Workers play a key role in helping them feel safe, understood, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with their personal care and daily routines
- Assisting with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and household activities
- Supporting individuals to take their medication safely and attend health appointments
- Encouraging meaningful activities, hobbies, social opportunities, and community involvement
- Providing reassurance, emotional support, and positive companionship
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and control
- Following individual support plans and agreed ways of working
- Supporting people to develop their skills and achieve their personal goals
- Responding calmly and positively when someone is experiencing distress
