Role: Senior Care & Support Assistant
Location: Maiden Castle House Residential Home, Dorchester DT1 2NJ
Pay: £13.80 per hour
Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Bank
Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 20:00, to include alternate weekend working
Are you a dedicated individual who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, and lead by example to support and motivate our care teams?
You should have prior experience in care, including care planning and medication administration, hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be happy to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Care Assistants
• Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Promote independence and dignity in all aspects of care.
• Act as a point of escalation for concerns or incidents.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
